Finding the right fit matters. You can explore each therapist’s areas of expertise, approaches, and experience to see who feels aligned with your needs. If you’re unsure, scheduling a consultation can help you ask questions and get a sense of whether it feels like a good match.
That’s completely okay. Therapy can help clarify what’s feeling difficult and what you’d like support with. You don’t need a clear plan before starting — figuring that out together is part of the process.
The first session is a chance to talk about what brought you to therapy, ask questions, and get a feel for how sessions might look moving forward. There’s no pressure to share everything at once. The focus is on creating a comfortable, supportive starting point.
We offer direct billing with select insurance providers. If direct billing isn’t available for your plan, you’ll receive a receipt that can be submitted to your insurer for reimbursement.
Frequently asked questions
Hi, I'm
Stephanie
For me, effective counselling requires that you, the client, feel understood and safe enough to explore difficult and uncomfortable things. My approach is non-judgmental and trauma informed, showing up with curiosity to understand who you are and how your experiences, values, relationships and goals shape you.
I draw from various modalities, including ACT, DBT, Narrative and Existential therapy, using tools and interventions that align with who you are and your goals. This means looking at your strengths, your skills, how you understand yourself and where you fit in the world.
Through my life I have offered support to children, teens, and adults at every stage of life and facing a variety of difficulties including trauma, anxiety, depression, and self esteem issues. I am especially interested in helping to navigate life's challenges, including offering grief support, support for those at transition points, and those living with disability, chronic illness or chronic pain.
